Gentle Whisper

Well, hello there!  I played with two of my most favorite colors tonight...lavender and pink. I did a combination of stamping and watercoloring today with a fine tip watercolor brush on top of ink stamping. I wanted to give this card a very soft look:

Eight different Memento ink colors were used: Grape jelly, sweet plum, lulu lavender, lilac posies, pear tart, bamboo leaves, cottage ivy, and new sprout.  The big floral stamp is a 2014 stamp from Penny Black called Gentle Whisper.  The sentiment is also a Penny Black stamp from a number of years ago.

I combined some smaller bits of stamping from a Simon Says Stamp set with a tiny little bird and leaves.  I was going to finish it off with a few hard embellishments but I decided to just leave as is......I adore this floral stamp so much that it may be one of my Christmas/Holiday designs this year - change it out with a different sentiment ofcourse, but who knows, I'm always loving floral designs for x-mas.

Hope everyone is well and have a beautiful week ahead!
