You might want to put on your sunglasses if you are not used to brightly colored cards. :) We had a vat of bad and rainy weather just recently.....and then finally, the sun came out about 2 days ago...yay! So this card is to celebrate every bit of sunshine that comes our way:
All products are Echo Park and Bo Bunny! Love the little stickers.......and yes, icecream seems to cure everything, doesn't it?
Hope there is lots of sunshine where you are today! Make it a good one!
Today has been a day of rest, rest.....and rest!! It's nice to stay home sometimes and just sit....I must admit, it's tiring being on the go all the time. So for this card below - you've seen me use the flower before in yellows and light pink....this one here is colored in with a creamy orange:
Enjoy! And here is the supply list:
Patterned Papers: My Mind's Eye and October Afternoon.
Neenah Solar White Cardstock.
Ribbon: Stamp Fever.
Button: Fancy Pants.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black.
Stamps: Jane's Doodles/Pretty Peonies.
Hey, all you PB fans, here's another cutie patootie.....it's called Sweet Dreams:
I was able to make my own sentiment with the very versatile alphabet set by Lawn Fawn called Claire's ABC's. I never seem to have enough sentiments, so why not make up your own. I really like these 'small' sized alpha sets. Really great for those tiny spaces...this is only a 4 x 4 card.
The flowers are Maya Road and cardstock is yummy Bazzill Basics.
I played with sweet Mimi today and this here is some really fast coloring. I didn't worry too much about getting out of the lines or what have you, I wanted to use really quick and fast strokes of the markers:
This stamp is called A Trip by Penny Black. I also paired her with some super cute papers from Lawn Fawn's Bright Side collection. The alpha stickers are also from Lawn Fawn! Isn't it great, in this 12 x 12 pack, there are colorful papers, alpha stickers, and journaling tags too, so fun! Perfect for your Spring time creations.
Hi all!! It's Give-a-way time! Hooray! In late 2011, I mentioned that I would be having a give-a-way in early 2012, so I wanted to keep that promise. I call this a "Thankful" Give-a-way because I have lots to be thankful for!
I've reached some goals that I wanted to accomplish for 2011, and that makes me happy! I still have TONS of goals left on my list that I would like to complete by 2013/14!! I'm thankful for my DH's accomplishments. My husband is graduating very soon with his degree in Business Management/Information Technology. And I'm very happy for him. It has been a hard road for him, working 50 or more hours each week, on graveyard shift....and going to school at the same time. He has also dealt with a lot of health complications as well, so through it all, we can't complain too much! We have all survived! :)
I have all of YOU to be thankful for, my faithful blog readers, or even if you don't read my blog but hit me up on Twitter or Facebook, hey, I'm cool with that....and all the friendships I've made through this fun hobby of ours....OK! Seriously, I could go on.....and on for every thankful meaning in my life...........but let's get to the goodies, one person will win all of this...open to all U.S. and International peeps!
It includes: Hero Arts clear stamp set, Penny Black Clear stamp sets, (7) Tim Holtz Distress Markers, Jenni Bowlin inks, a Technique Tuesday clear set, a Lawn Fawn 6 x6 paper pad, CARDS Magazines, Doodlebug Designs Twine, and Lawn Fawn twine.
And knowing me, I'll most likely add on stuff that is not shown here. Everything is brand new, never opened, and clean. I may throw in some more duplicate CARDS Magazines as well.
I heard these guys are popular:
I'll do lots more give-a-ways down the road too, so fun!!
Leave any comment you want here and I'll leave it open for a while.
Hey all, I’m super excited to share a fun new digital/paper crafting kit with you today!
One of my online scrappy friends, Shanna Vineyard, has combined her love of hand-drawing and painting mixed with her fondness of bright, happy colors to bring us a kit that is different than anything you’ve ever seen! In celebration of her relocating back home to Arizona next week, she was inspired to create this kit, “Home Is Where the Heart Is” that includes over 50 different hand-drawn and painted images. They can be used in your digital projects or can be easily resized and printed to cut out and use with your traditional scrapbooking and card making creations. The possibilities are endless and you will have them to use over and over again as much as you like for as many projects as you wish! So FUN!!!
Here’s what I made using her kit…..
First up, this is a one-layer, digital card.....all elements were re-sized and layered, then printed directly onto cardstock to create this fun little scene:
Next, I made a Hybrid Layout - once again, re-sized all elements but this time, instead of layering, I cut out each image:
Don't you just love that mailbox?? The little house and the fence, sooo cute! And here is a close-up shot of the adorable little flowers!
Visit Shanna’s blog to purchase this kit and see LOTS of other awesome samples that were created specifically to share with you today! In celebration of this fun, new release she is also doing a huge giveaway valued at over $275.00 with lots of fabulous new scrappy goodies and several ways you can win! So head on over and check it out!
Thanks, Shanna, for letting me play with your kit, way too fun! Thanks for stopping by!
