Lavender and Rootbeer?

Purple and browns are not normally colors I would put together.....but as I was looking thru my stash of ribbons this morning, I found this satiny rootbeer ribbon....yes, that's the name of it....don't you just love names for I paired it with my mostly lavender color scheme on this card:

It looks a little dark here, but the whole look of the card actually came out pretty good IRL....pretty much all stamps and papers are from Hero Arts!

Beautiful design! Like the effect of the brown and lavendar! Someone once said if it is a combination you would see in nature it will be a lovely combination! :)

wow! this is so elegant, Tif! i was just thinking about making a mother's day card using purple and brown (i prefer call it rootbeer, too!)!!! but a good design never come, so I am still sitting on that one. LOVE yours though! fabulous card!
