Oh, Peek-A-Boo....I see you!!

Hi all! Today is Lizzie Anne's DT Challenge! Our challenge today is based on this sketch below:

It's up to the Design Team to make a sketch with some sort of a peek-a-boo window or surprise! Here is my take on the sketch....I wanted a very summery and colorful feel:

Peek-A-Boo Full Card

The big, red flower is from one of my all time favorite floral sets called Garden Inspirations! The sentiment I used is also from the very same set and is hidden underneath the flower:

Peek-A-Boo Window1

To make the flower open up from the window, I, first, stamped the image twice....colored in and trimmed.....punch a hole on a piece of pp and place over a white cs where you want the sentiment to lie!

SAVE the circle part of the punched hole for later, you will need it to place the flower on top and then to cover up the sentiment 'hole' once you are finished.

You will need one small brad to make the SWIVEL portion of the flower....the flexible brad makes the flower turn any way you want. The reason for the bottom layer of the flower is so that it hides the brad....you can see the brad here in this photo:

Peek-A-Boo Window2

And that's all there is to this fun card! Be sure to mention on the inside of the card that it's interactive and the recipient needs to twist the flower! ;)

Thanks for looking and enjoy! Now hop on over to the rest of the team to see what they came up with, you may see a list of their names HERE!

Have a great day!
