Lizzie Anne's Singing in the Rain!

Welcome to the 15th, hooray - and that means time for next month's February Monthly Mix called Singing in the Rain!

Here are my samples, this first card I used a sweet little chick image holding an umbrella, and I added a watering pot to go just above her head...

Hi friend rainshower

There are a few raindrops that are a part of the image that goes with the chick and the umbrella.....for the raindrops that is pouring from the spout, I hand drew those to match the stamp.

Hi friend rainshower2

This image is just soo delightful, plan to make more cards with the chick, would be great for Easter cards too!

My next card features 3 different stamps, a clock design - in which I stamped multiple times and layered with four pieces distressed and colored in yellow.

Circle of clocks

A pretty border stamp was used on the right top angle and bottom left angle of the card.

The sentiment hovers over about 1/4 of one of the clocks and the yellow piece is once again, raised and adhered:

Something fun and a different style for me for this clock card!

Enjoy and go check out what my teammates have done with their fabulous samples: AJ, Deb, Jeanne, Jeni, Joslyn, Kendra, Maren, Meridith, Taylor, Tricia, and Wendy!

Adorable chick card! Lvoe the little chick hiding under his umbrella. The clock cut out in different color on the sentiment is so clever and really adds a great focus on the senitment.
