Simple Holiday Birdie...

Hey all! Hope your weekend was good!! Are you set for Halloween yet? ;)

Let's get started with this weeks card....Tami Hartley heads off the week at Hero Arts with the fun theme of Simple Holiday Stamping! Now who couldn't use some really simple to go with our busy days and lives?! Especially now that the holidays are coming even closer as I peek on my calendar!!

Tiny Holiday Birdie

For the above card, I kept it simple by utilizing images that don't require a lot of coloring.....that's important, you don't want to spend too much time coloring in.....a few embellies, bits and pieces of cardstock, and a cheerful sentiment tops off the card perfectly!

Here is a tiny tip that I used from Lisa Spangler, way back then when she made a birdie card from the 'Be Yourself' set. If I can find it, I'll refer to it, but she mentions how you can perfectly align an image if you want to stamp it on two sheets of cardstock.

So for the birds legs below, I simply stamped the entire bird image on the white, then stamped only a portion of the birds feet on the blue cs. Align the two images and you have a clean finish. Great tips from Lisa!!
